Life's $200 lesson

I've been told countless time,  "You get what you pay for." Life is a fickle thing. You see, it's backwards from what we've been conditioned to believe is routine. You see the average American will spent at least twelve years in a educational setting. Others will choose to spend 2 - 5 additional years in an educational setting in attempts to set themselves up for success and a comfortable life. But you see, life is different than the educational setting that we are accustom to. You see, in the educational setting, we are conditioned that the way life goes is very sequential. You show up, you do the lesson, take a test to determine how well you comprehend said lesson, and repeat. Each individual's results are scored and set into a ranking order of preferred status to non preferred status. Higher marks usually indicate a level aptitude and intelligence. Though personally, I am from the belief that perfect grades are merely a sign of obedience and not necessarily an indication of intellect, but that's an entirely different post all together. I digress. You see, life's not sequential, it doesn't fit into perfect conditions, and it doesn't follow the model we've become so accustom to. In the game of life, you get the test first and the lesson second. Do not be too eager to deal out acceptance in your judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all.
